This reminds me of my contemp teacher
I found out now that I would be a good cultural anthropologist.I’m a history major because i wanted to be a highschool teacher and they wouldn’t let me be one with just a sociology degree. Secretly, I don’t dig history all that much. The idea of spending days, weeks, and months rehashing the past in old documents and the such never seemed appealing to me.
However, as I go through primary documents of the civil rights movement I find myself inspired for the second time as my career as a junior historian. The first time was when i researched the lives of slaves in early America.
I honestly could see myself being a real historian if I got to examine social injustice, it revs my engine.
